The Kanpur, India native, who previously worked in Washington, DC, at the ritzy, Michelin-recognized Punjab Grill, has made waves since his 2022 arrival in the Houston area. I cannot say what happened until the show is revealed, but I can say it was a great experience. “The ingredients they gave me were exciting. “I don’t want to reveal anything.” What he can say, though, is that he will be the only chef from the Houston area in this episode and that he does not disappoint. ![]() “It’s been hard (to keep it a secret),” he says. Following an interview, he was selected to compete on the show in November. The winner gets $10,000.īindra says the reality TV cooking competition’s casting crew reached out via Instagram last year to see if he was interested in participating in the show. ![]() The chef will showcase his skills in an episode of Food Network’s Chopped on Tuesday, August 15, during which he’ll compete against three other chefs, with just 20 minutes to create a dish to submit before judges.
